I’m Demelza — a mother and photographer whose passion is turning the pregnancy experience into images that move you forever. Based in Santafé, I work with a careful, artistic approach to maternity photography: my goal is to highlight each mother’s natural beauty, the changing curves, the shared looks and the tenderness that is already emerging. My working method blends pictorial sensitivity with simple, elegant photography. In the studio I play with light, silhouettes and close-ups to create intimate, artful portraits; outdoors I use natural light and the landscape for more documentary-style sessions full of color. Before every session we discuss your preferences and the aesthetic you like: we choose colors, styles and looks so you feel comfortable and beautiful. I provide maternity wardrobe to help achieve the desired result and I send practical tips so you arrive prepared (underwear and any personal details you want to include). I recommend booking in advance and scheduling the session between weeks 28 and 32, when the bump has a lovely shape and you still feel agile. After booking I’ll send all the necessary information: preparation, wardrobe options and the image style we’ll work on. On the day of the shoot my priority is that you enjoy the experience: I offer a friendly approach, patience and many photographs so you can choose the ones that best represent you. If you wish, the sessions can include your partner or older children; I love capturing the family’s complicity as they await the new arrival. I carefully edit each image to deliver a warm, timeless result that aligns with the emotional memory you want to preserve.
