I’m Paola León, a maternity photographer based in Seville, and my work in maternity photography is born from the desire to preserve unrepeatable moments. As a mother and lover of family—my children are my favorite frame—I am passionate about accompanying expectant mothers through a stage that is at once delicate and powerful. My aim is that every maternity album reflects that blend of tenderness, strength and truth. My style is natural and free of artifices: I seek the warm light of our land, soft palettes and poses that convey intimacy. In maternity sessions I favor spontaneity over rigid posing; I guide calmly, suggesting simple gestures that bring out complicity, the smile and the gaze. I work both in studio and outdoors, adapting the aesthetic to what each woman desires: more intimate and sophisticated images in the studio, or maternity photos in nature for those seeking freshness and movement. The process is designed so you feel comfortable and secure. Before the session we talk through ideas, wardrobe and atmosphere; I advise on what clothing flatters depending on the location and the intention of the photos (fitted dresses, bodysuits, open shirts, lingerie or casual looks). In the studio we can also work nude or semi-nude with respect and care, always prioritizing your wellbeing and the aesthetic you want. During the session I attend to every detail: lighting, posing, composition and the overall mood. I take the necessary time so you can enjoy the experience and so the result moves you each time you look at the images. I deliver the photos after careful editing that preserves natural tones and the “tone with soul” that defines my work.
