I’m Verónica Laviana and my work in maternity photography is born from a passion for turning those unique months into memories and dreams. Based in Natahoyo (Gijón), I specialize in maternity sessions that aim to reflect the beauty, serenity, and authenticity of each expectant mother. My approach to a maternity session is both warm and professional: you don’t need to be “photogenic.” With a background in fashion and advertising, I direct the session naturally, guiding you in poses and movements so you feel comfortable and can enjoy the moment. I work in studio and on location, selecting light and settings that favor neutral tones and timeless atmospheres. The result is elegant, intimate, and soulful maternity photos. I understand every pregnancy is different: that’s why I speak with you before the session to define style, wardrobe and options (white background, warm tones, black & white, or a vintage feel in post-production). I usually recommend scheduling the session between weeks 28 and 36 to capture the silhouette at its most beautiful, but we always coordinate according to how you feel and your calendar. During the maternity session you’ll find a calm, relaxed environment: props and wardrobe are prepared in the studio to make the experience easy, and if you prefer outdoors, I choose natural locations around Gijón that enhance light and the emotion of the moment. My priority is that you are the protagonist: by connecting with you and your story I create sincere images that will accompany your family for a lifetime. Beyond on-set direction, I deliver carefully edited images so each photograph tells a story.
