I'm Naiara, a photographer at Meraki Studio in Bilbao, and I dedicate myself passionately to maternity photography. For me, the word “Meraki” sums up my way of working: putting heart, creativity and care into every session. My goal is for you to keep more than an image — a memory that brings back the feelings of that unique moment. I specialize in maternity sessions designed to make you feel comfortable and natural. I work both in the studio — with an intimate atmosphere and personalized sets — and outdoors, where light and landscape accompany the story. I usually recommend scheduling between weeks 32–37 for belly photos, but I always adapt the timing to what suits you best. My approach avoids rigid posing: I aim to capture calm, eyes turned toward the bump, the couple’s complicity and spontaneous gestures. Before the session we have a short chat to get to know each other, choose outfits and define the style: delicate and intimate images, cheerful outdoor photos or a creative and playful proposal if you prefer. I offer wardrobe styling advice so you feel like yourself and your bump’s silhouette is flattering in the images. If you’re looking for something more original, I offer options such as belly painting to experience body painting and photograph it; I can also include illustrated details through my collaboration with an illustrator — the “dibugrafías” — which add a touch of fantasy to selected images. Siblings and partners are always welcome: they are part of the memory. Delivery is as important as the shoot. At Meraki Studio you will receive your images as digital files and on a USB drive, and I also send carefully presented prints so you can touch and gift them. We take care of the packaging so that opening your photos becomes another memorable experience.
