I’m Sonia Sánchez, a photographer specializing in maternity photography based in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Wardrobe is included, and I guide you step by step during the shoot so you can relax and enjoy the moment, even if you’ve never posed for a camera before. I work both in studio and on location: in the studio I control the light and details for elegant portraits; outdoors I use natural light for more spontaneous, natural sessions. I recommend scheduling the session between weeks 28 and 35, when the bump is defined and the mother still feels agile. Studio sessions typically last between one hour and an hour and a half; outdoor sessions can take up to two hours. Beyond timing, my priority is to create a relaxed and respectful atmosphere where the mom and her story are always the focus. If there are older siblings or a family pet, we include them lovingly in the images. I pay attention to every detail: from selecting fabrics and backgrounds to light direction and postproduction, my goal is an elegant, emotional result.
