I’m Merce Hernán, a visual storyteller and photographer specializing in maternity photography in Ciudad Real. My passion is to accompany expectant mothers and create images that go beyond a simple portrait: I aim to capture the emotion, tenderness and connection a family experiences in this unique moment. My approach to maternity photography is simple and human: I work almost always outdoors, making the most of natural light and the corners of Ciudad Real that best tell your story. I believe in the “magic of spontaneity”: the best images appear when couples and mothers feel comfortable, without rigid posing, with genuine gestures and honest looks. My style is bright, very natural and emotive; I commit 100% so each session reflects who you are and how you feel. How I work: before the session we talk to understand your ideas, favorite colors and locations. We prepare the location together — countryside, park or a nearby urban corner — and I provide simple guidance on wardrobe and accessories so everything flows. During the session I create a relaxed, trusting and close atmosphere; I guide softly and look for those details and gestures that tell your story. If you wish, we can include special elements (baby clothes, family accessories or, occasionally, your pet) so the reportage is completely personal. Delivery and products: I take care of the entire process, from careful editing to high-quality delivery. I offer products to preserve those memories: handcrafted albums, enlargements and special keepsake boxes that honor the images and the moment lived. Each photograph is treated sensitively to preserve the light and emotion of the instant. I work from Ciudad Real and travel across the province when the story calls for it.
