I’m Jon, the photographer behind Halos de Luz, and my specialty is maternity photography in Guadalajara. For more than a decade I’ve dedicated much of my work to capturing the beauty and emotion of pregnancy, combining artistic sensitivity with professional technique. My goal is for every maternity session to be an intimate, visual celebration of this unique stage you’re experiencing. What sets me apart is a personalized approach: I design each session around your story, preferences and comfort. I work both in studio and on location — taking advantage of seasonal spots such as lavender and sunflower fields — to offer a varied portfolio, from elegant, intimate portraits to natural, luminous outdoor images. I master continuous lighting and studio flash to shape light and shadow according to the style you want: classic, artistic or documentary. My method is warm and unhurried. Before the session we discuss styles, wardrobe and expectations; during the shoot I aim to create a relaxed atmosphere where the couple or the expecting mother feels secure and natural. I include small details (hands on the belly, the ultrasound, a sibling’s gaze) to narrate the connection between the mother, the family and the life ahead. After the session I perform careful editing in Lightroom and Photoshop to achieve clean, warm and timeless images you can keep and proudly share. At Halos de Luz I understand that every pregnancy is different: that’s why I offer sessions adapted in length and location, designed to capture both delicate posed shots and spontaneous gestures.
