At MANAU Fotògrafs (Arenys de Mar), maternity photography is our specialty: we attend to every detail so you feel comfortable, empowered and natural in front of the camera. I’m Mireia, and for years I’ve been capturing this emotional stage; my aim is that when you look at the photos you’ll feel again the calm and excitement of that moment. My approach is warm and unhurried: I seek naturalness and authenticity, not rigid posing. Before the session I send you a PDF guide with background, color and wardrobe suggestions so you can choose what best fits your style. In our Arenys de Mar studio we offer a curated wardrobe and props to create elegant, timeless images, and we can also adapt the session to outdoor locations if you prefer a reportage in natural light. I recommend scheduling the maternity session between weeks 28 and 32: this is when the bump is visible but you still feel agile and comfortable. During the session we take the time needed: I give gentle directions, we talk and laugh, and, most importantly, we respect your pace so everything flows. The experience should be enjoyable, never exhausting. I work with careful attention to detail: thoughtful lighting, flattering composition, and editing that preserves natural tones and emotions. If you wish, the session can include photos with your partner or family; my priority is that the report reflects your connection. If you are thinking of continuing the story with newborn photos, MANAU also offers newborn sessions designed for the baby’s wellbeing (ideal between 6 and 12 days old).
