I am Elia Vidal, a photographer specializing in maternity photography with a style that prioritizes naturalness and genuine emotion. As a mother, I understand the feelings that accompany pregnancy and I work from sensitivity and full empathy so each maternity session becomes an intimate, calm and memorable experience. My approach in pregnancy sessions aims to capture the essence of the moment: simple gestures, knowing glances and the connection with family. I recommend scheduling the session between weeks 30 and 35, a period when the maternal silhouette is comfortable and you can achieve images that convey tenderness and strength. If you wish, siblings or pets can join to create portraits that reflect your family life. I work both outdoors and in studio and adapt easily to low natural light conditions, offering technical and compositional solutions to achieve warm, natural images. In every maternity book we take care of the background, wardrobe and atmosphere so the result is consistent with your personality: from bright, ethereal images to more intimate, naturally lit portraits. My process is close and unrushed. Before the session we agree on style and details; on the day I aim to create a relaxed atmosphere so you feel comfortable and can enjoy the experience. During the shoot I become “transparent” to capture spontaneous moments and genuine emotions, not forced poses. Afterwards, I carefully select and edit each photograph to respect tones and textures, offering a visual narrative that lets you feel the emotion of those days again.
