I’m Helena Salanova, a photographer based in Igualada specializing in maternity photography. My work focuses on accompanying expectant mothers through an intimate, close prematernity session, preserving the naturalness and authenticity of each moment. I create images that convey the tenderness, strength and anticipation of pregnancy: glances, hands on the belly, and the small gestures that only motherhood brings. My approach is documentary and unposed: I aim for the session to feel like a calm meeting among friends, with your comfort as the priority. I work outdoors in golden light and natural settings that add warmth and movement, as well as in my studio, set up with soft light and cozy textures to produce intimate and emotive portraits. You can come alone, with your partner or with your children; my goal is to photograph you as you are, with care and respect. With more than ten years of experience and training in audiovisual production, photography and design, I bring both technical sensitivity and attention to detail. I enjoy connecting with people, building trust and creating a relaxed environment so images can flow. During the session I guide gently so poses feel spontaneous and emotions remain genuine, avoiding anything forced or artificial. After the session I edit the photographs with a consistent, thoughtful eye to color and light, delivering a private online gallery from which you can choose the images that move you most. I’m passionate about turning those images into tangible memories, so I usually encourage printing a few pieces to display at home and keep the moment present.
