I’m Alba Pifarré and my obsession is to preserve the story as it happens: keeping the moments of maternity so you can relive them always. As a maternity photographer in Lleida I work from a conscious and respectful perspective: my pregnancy sessions (maternity session, pregnancy album, bump photos) aim to capture the truth of the moment, authentic emotions and the connection between those waiting for their baby. My approach is documentary and close. I prefer to accompany and observe rather than direct: I create calm spaces where you feel seen and safe. For many families this means doing the session at home, where the light, smells and quiet favor natural, meaningful images. In other cases we suggest simple, timeless locations that enhance the intimacy of maternity without artifice. The result is photography that functions as a family heirloom, a visual legacy for children and grandchildren. In addition to pregnancy sessions, I offer birth photography and video with a discreet, present way of working. Before the birth we get to know each other: at least a couple of meetings (online, by phone or in person) to talk about your wishes, plan how I’ll be present and answer any questions. I am available for calls and on-call support, and I come to the place of birth intending to remain unobtrusive, respecting your privacy and the physiology of labour. The memory that remains afterwards has an incalculable value. I also work with respectful newborn reportage: the first days of life are unique and should be documented with patience and sensitivity. My practice is grounded in calm, avoiding unnecessary stress for the baby and the family, to obtain authentic images of the newborn and those first encounters. Choosing my work means choosing a sensitive, professional and conscious outlook. For me, maternity photography is not just a pretty session: it’s building a Life Story that will accompany you always.
