I’m Verónica, a maternity photographer based in Nou Barris (Barcelona). My work is born from my own experience as a mother and my love of nature: I aim to portray the strength and tenderness of the “sweet wait” with a natural, unforced approach, so those images can bring back the feelings of that time. My approach is simple: to create a warm, relaxed and respectful atmosphere where you can be yourself. I prefer natural photography, when emotions flow; I like to capture glances, gestures and the silhouette of pregnancy with soft light and honest compositions. I work both at home and outdoors — always adapting to the place that makes you feel comfortable — to create authentic images that reflect your story. Before the session we talk calmly: we go over your questions, your tastes and what you want to remember. Together we’ll choose the setting and the style — more intimate and domestic or more relaxed outdoors — and my intention is for the session to be a moment of care for you, without pressure or forced poses. I respect your pace, accompany you with patience and strive for each shot to arise from the complicity between us. I believe every pregnancy is unique, so I tailor each session to your needs: if you want photos as a couple, with family, or a solo session as a tribute to your body, we’ll organise it.
