I’m Dídac Balanzó, a photographer with a studio in Sant Martí and a special dedication to maternity photography. For me, every pregnancy is a unique story: intimate, transformative and full of small gestures that deserve to be kept forever. My aim is to help you remember this moment with sincere, warm images full of personality. My approach is rooted in empathy and naturalness. I come from photojournalism and architectural photography, and that combination helps me seek clean compositions, authentic atmospheres and scenes that say more than what meets the eye. I work so the session becomes a calm experience: I guide you from the initial idea, suggesting poses and resources that respect your comfort and style, and I encourage spontaneous moments where looks, smiles and gestures arise — the moments that really matter. I offer sessions both in my own studio in Poblenou and on location across Barcelona, adapting to what suits you best. In the studio you’ll find a private, controlled space where we can play with light and create more intimate portraits; on location we look for the beauty of the city and natural light for freer, luminous images. Whatever the option, I pay attention to every detail: framing choices, texture, light and the connection between the people taking part in the session. I work closely and flexibly: before the session we talk about your ideas and preferences, during the session I support you so you feel comfortable and enjoy the experience, and afterwards I help you select the images that move you most. My style avoids rigid poses and focuses on authenticity: I want your maternity photos to be truly yours — original and able to bring you back to that moment every time you look at them.
