I’m Laia, the photographer behind MargueriteBear Photography, and my vocation is turning the experience of pregnancy into images that convey tenderness and authenticity. Since founding MargueriteBear I have specialised in maternity photography: for me every maternity session is an opportunity to celebrate the beauty of the change you are experiencing. My approach is simple and honest: I look for naturalness. I work mainly outdoors — beach, mountains or any place where you feel at ease — because natural light and open spaces encourage connection and spontaneous images. Before the session we talk calmly to choose the location and style that best represent you; during the shoot my aim is to create a relaxed, warm and respectful atmosphere where you can move freely and feel like yourself. I bring professional training and careful attention: beyond my artistic sensitivity, I am certified in first aid, CPR and safe baby handling, which allows me to work with calmness and responsibility at every stage of the process. That combination of sensitivity and safety defines how I work with pregnant women and couples. My method is very personal: I prepare a pre-session guide so you arrive relaxed, I help with wardrobe choices and during the session I aim to capture both intimate portraits and everyday gestures, as well as the connection with your partner or family. I favour natural poses and candid moments rather than forced positions — images you will look back on with emotion.
