I am Clara Ballesta, the photographer behind Mataró Photography, and my passion is telling people's stories through images. As a specialist in maternity photography, I focus on capturing the magic and authenticity of this unique moment: the bond, the hope and the beauty of the expectant body. My approach is close and natural. I work to make sessions relaxed and enjoyable; before the shoot I like to listen so I understand what you want to convey and which atmosphere helps you feel comfortable. That sensitivity, together with my training in photography and graphic design and several years of professional experience, allows me to compose images that combine genuine emotion with a carefully considered aesthetic. I offer sessions both in studio and outdoors (beach or nearby landscapes), and I adapt the visual language to what best represents you: soft, minimal light for intimate studio portraits, or natural light and open scenes for more spontaneous images on the beach or in the countryside. During the session I guide you with gentle directions and a warm, personal manner so you can relax and be yourselves in front of the camera.
