I’m Lucía del Rincón —Lur— and in my Calahorra studio I passionately specialise in maternity photography. My approach is born from a blend of “northern strength and southern passion”: I aim to transfer that energy into every maternity portrait so each woman recognises herself as powerful, beautiful and authentic. As a specialist in maternity, my work combines the warmth of natural portraiture with the subtlety of a fine art finish when the project calls for it. My working method is close and personalised. Before the session we have a conversation to understand how you feel, what images you dream of, and which wardrobe choices make you comfortable. I photograph both in my studio on Paseo del Mercadal and on location around Calahorra or at places chosen by the client, because every pregnancy deserves a setting that reflects its story. In the studio I have selected wardrobe and props available; if you prefer an outdoor session, we make the most of natural light and the surroundings to capture spontaneous moments. During the session my priority is to create a calm, safe atmosphere: I direct with care, respect and patience so every gesture feels natural and true. My training in portraiture and fine art shows especially in staging, lighting and composition; in post-production I devote time to developing, colour correction and retouching that enhance the image without overworking it. Many families appreciate the option to include partners or other children to build a shared narrative of this moment. I deliver carefully retouched images intended to preserve emotion and memory. For me a maternity session is more than a photoshoot: it is an intimate testament that will accompany generations.
