I am a specialist in maternity photography in Castilla, and my work is nourished by a documentary, close, and honest gaze. I like to say that I slip into your life: I don’t look for perfect poses or forced smiles, but for the small scenes that speak of how you feel in this moment — that hand on the belly, a calm look, the shared gesture of complicity with your partner. My goal is to transform the fragility and hope of the waiting period into images you can touch with memory. My way of working is based on trust and respect. Before the session we talk to get to know one another, answer questions, and create an atmosphere where you feel safe. During the shoot I don’t give many directions; I accompany. I prefer a morning without a clock, authentic gestures, and natural movements. No posing: I want you to be yourself and for whatever needs to happen to happen. That freedom allows intimate moments to surface — moments that often go unnoticed in everyday life and that, when recorded, become the visual book of your maternity. There is a very personal side to this work: although I am not a mother, maternity moves me deeply. I have experienced losses that taught me to value each instant and to connect with the sensitivity of those who are expecting. That experience makes me especially careful and empathetic during maternity sessions: I know how to create a safe, tender space where your emotions have room. Style, technique and sensitivity go hand in hand. I work with natural light and simple compositions so the photographs can breathe and tell a story. My editing stays true to the emotional tone of the session: warm, real, and without artifices.
