I’m Silvia Portero, a maternity photographer based in Crevillente. My work focuses on accompanying expectant mothers through one of the most unique moments of their lives: the time when life grows within them. My aim is to create images that do more than document pregnancy — they preserve the emotion, tenderness and strength of this special stage. Why choose a session with me? LOOK AT YOURSELF — YOU’RE RADIANT — and my sensitive eye is dedicated to capturing that in each photograph. My approach combines naturalness and attention to detail. I prefer simple compositions that highlight the connection between the mother (and, if desired, the family) and the new life they are expecting. I guide clients in choosing clothing, poses and gestures so that every image reflects their personality and the real emotion of pregnancy, avoiding artificial poses and forced expressions. How do I work? Before the session we have a conversation to get to know each other, understand your expectations and address any detail that will make you feel comfortable. During the session I strive to create a relaxed, intimate atmosphere: photography should be an enjoyable experience and a memory you cherish while it’s being made. After the shoot I carefully select and edit the images with a sensitive eye, attending to light, color and the intimacy of each moment. Maternity photography for me is also a process of constant learning and renewal: each session inspires me to explore new ways of approaching human beauty.
