I’m Esther, the person behind missmostaza, and my work is fully dedicated to maternity photography. I specialize in creating pregnancy sessions that move away from forced poses and artificial trends: my aim is to capture motherhood as it really is, with honesty, beauty and naturalness. My approach to a maternity session rests on three pillars: respect, warmth and a timeless aesthetic. Respect because I understand the physical and emotional changes of this moment and adapt the session to how you feel; warmth because my studio in the village of Sant Joan is designed to feel like home — neutral colors, natural textiles and a relaxed atmosphere; timeless aesthetic because I want these images to still move you decades from now. I work in studio or on location (one of my favourite spots in the province is Cabo de las Huertas), depending on what best connects with your vision. To spare you styling worries I offer a client wardrobe with carefully chosen dresses that enhance the pregnant silhouette, plus a style guide to help you and your companions choose outfits. During the session I won’t ask you to hold intense stares or fake smiles: my method is conversational and gentle. I look for moments of connection — between the expectant parent and their partner, children or pet — and translate those moments into sincere images. If you bring kids or your partner I adapt the pace so everything flows; if you prefer an intimate session, we’ll move at your rhythm. The process is straightforward: we talk before the session to understand what you want, I give wardrobe and location suggestions, we shoot in a calm setting, and afterwards you receive access to a private online gallery to choose your favourite images from home. I work to make the experience pleasant, comfortable and memorable: I don’t just deliver photos, I deliver keepsakes that live with your everyday life.
